Cyber Test Engineer

**CANDIDATES MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE WITH THE DOD TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE!!

Position: TS/SCI Cyber Test Engineer

Location: onsite at JBSA-Lackland

Duration: 6-month contract-to-permanent

Pay Rate: $42-52/hour (depending on experience)

Must Haves:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, systems, software engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in a technical engineering role (i.e. systems, software, or network engineering)
• Experience in a hands on testing environment of Cyber Systems
• Experience documenting test plans, results and proposals for solutions to be presented to customers
• Experience working within an Agile environment utilizing Jira and/or Confluence
• Experience drafting and reviewing a Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP)

Day-to-Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Cyber Test Engineer to support a federal client sitting at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities will include:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to evaluate the security posture of systems and networks.
• Identify and assess vulnerabilities in systems, applications, and networks using various tools and techniques.
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing test results, findings, and recommendations for customer presentation.
• Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure the overall security of systems

IG Consultants: While on contract, you will be an Insight Global employee working for a particular company/end client on W2.

• Pay Day: You will be paid out each Friday and one week in arrears. This means you will receive payment for this week’s hours next Friday.
• Holidays/Time Off: While a consultant through Insight Global, the hours you work are they hours you will be paid. We do not offer paid sick days, paid time off, or paid holidays, except as required by applicable law.
